Hi! We have a whole network of talented face painters. glitter tattoo artists, caricature artists, henna artists and balloonists. I've been a public and private school teaching assistant, bus ministry leader, children's church worker, Awana leader.....you get the idea! I have also been a customer support rep for the pharmacy industry (prescription processing software and hardware and an executive) and a sales admin for a major office supply company for several years, where I supported over 75 sales reps. So I take the customer support/communication portion of our work as seriously as the artwork.
My painting days began at my church's Fall Festival! I was recruited by a deacon because he had seen me sketching my bible lessons on the chalkboard...and so the rest is history, so they say. I have tons of reviews listed on Gig Salad and a 5 star rating on GigMasters. I'm happy to send you a copy of them, just ask! One of the most frequent remarks (compliments) I receive from adults and kids is that I am the best they have ever seen; my usual comeback is, "how many have you seen", lol. They are sincere and tell me that they have been painted many times. I am always so thankful for those words of encouragement; however, I often wonder how many folks are out there promoting themselves as face painters, and many times charging just as much as I do, but really not doing work worthy of that rate! Please shop carefully when you pick a face painter! Ask a LOT OF QUESTIONS!
Ask these questions:
1) Are the photos on your site, all your original work? There are a lot of "face painters" out there using other people's work to bring in business.
2) What paints and glitters do you use? If you don't hear the words Wolfe, FX, Paradise, TAG, Snazaroo, Ben Nye...do some research and make sure they are FDA approved. Craft Glitter can cut the eye. Real Face painters use a special cosmetic grade glitter.
3) Insured (if that is important to you/legally required)?
4) Years of Experience
5) References/Reviews
6) Deposit required. This part is very important. Without a deposit to secure, they could decide someone else's event is a better deal and leave you hanging. I've had this happen to me personally, by a fellow artist, so I'm sure it happens to her customers.

We use Kid-safe paint, glitter, and other products. These are recommended for children 3 and up! We LOVE to paint teens and adults too, so there is no age limit!
We provide a variety of entertainment for Special Events - birthdays, family reunions, Easter & Christmas parties, festivals, fairs, company events and much more.
We also have a WIDE variety of Glitter Tattoos! These are great for the older kids, teens and adults and especially where pool or water slide is involved, since they are both waterproof and last 3-4 days! With advance notice, I can even order customized stencils!
Generally, my rate is $125 per hour. I prefer a two hour party for any group size over 12 guests, but one hour parties are open for discussion. I have even sweeter deals for multi-hour events and those in SW Arlington and Kennedale, since I live closest to that area! For outlying areas, I will add a $25 plus travel fee.
Donations: Although I can't paint for free, I'm happy to discuss sponsorships and other ideas for funding us to be there! We love an opportunity to network but we do also need to cover our expense (gas, paint and other materials).
